Furniture World Shipping and Collection Policy
Applicable to New Zealand orders only
This policy is designed to ensure you clearly understand our shipping, delivery, and collection procedures. By placing an order with Furniture World, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Stock Availability
All pickups and deliveries are subject to stock availability.
If an item is not in stock, our store team will contact you and provide an updated estimated arrival time.
Customer Pick-ups
Customers choosing to collect their order must call us at least two days before collection so we can prepare the order, subject to stock availability.
If an item is not in stock, the store team will update you with the expected availability and collection timeframe.
For large, heavy, or multiple items, please bring two strong people to assist with loading. Our staff may not always be available to help.
Once items are loaded, they become your responsibility. Please inspect all items for damage before loading.
If items are collected boxed or packaged, they must be returned in the same packaging if there is an issue.
Deliveries
All deliveries are subject to stock availability.
If an item is not in stock, our store team will contact you and advise an updated estimated delivery time.
Delivery is door to door. Items delivered under this service are covered against damage during transit.
Additional charges may apply if items need to be carried upstairs or if existing furniture must be moved to complete delivery.
Transit, Handling, and Order Cut-off Time

Transit time: 5 to 10 business days, Monday to Friday

All timeframes are estimates and may vary based on stock availability and location.
Delivery Partners
We use Mainfrieght to deliver products New Zealand wide.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery destination and item weight. Free shipping is available on selected products.
Change of Address
Delivery addresses cannot be changed once an order is in transit.
To request a change, contact us within 24 hours of placing your order.

Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number to follow your delivery progress.
Incorrect Address
If an incorrect address is provided and delivery cannot be completed, the order will be returned to our store. The customer will be responsible for the full cost of re shipping.
Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled at any time before dispatch.
If an order has already been dispatched, please refer to our refund policy.
Parcels Damaged in Transit
If a parcel arrives damaged, please reject it with the courier if possible and contact our customer service team immediately.
If the parcel was delivered while you were not present, please contact customer service for next steps.
Tax
GST is collected in line with New Zealand law. Most product prices include GST.
